I do have to admit that I've never actually finished KOTOR 2. It was just so cool to go to all of those places and have it be so in depth with side quests characters and the individual planet story arcs. The cool ocean world, the Jedi temple, the Sith home world, the wookie forest planet. I loved pretty much all the world's you go to (beyond the first city one that goes on for a little long). It nailed that aspect of a fun adventure, with solid characters, an enjoyable villain, and the legendary twist. KOTOR 1 is one of my favorite games ever, so I'm always going to have a soft spot for it.ДЇor me it's perfect Star Wars. ThereвЂ™s still more to it but her plan is was far more than just вЂњkill everything and everyoneвЂќ. They relied on it so much that without it, they couldnвЂ™t survive like the Exile could. And what happened to the Council as a result? They died because of shock. What Kreia did was cut them off from the force. Something that the Council and their arrogance never wanted to acknowledge and why they were wrong. In that Council scene, after they were attempting to cut off the Exile from the force, she wanted to show them what the Exile sees and experiences on a day-to-day basis. Technically, she never had any kills that she alone was responsible for (yes IвЂ™m including that scene with the Jedi Council towards the end of the game. ThatвЂ™s why she was so fond of the Exile, because of her previous disconnection to the force, yet she not only still lived, but remained strong. And most importantly, how much the vast majority of Jedi/Dark Jedi relied on it. She despised it, hated what it does to people and how it seemed to control everything around them. What Kreia wanted to do in a nutshell was to вЂњbring an end to the forceвЂќ. That is a very over-simplification of what she wanted to doвЂ¦and also incorrect. Both are incredible games though and are my favorites of all time. The twist, the characters, and an incredible adventure from beginning to end. While KOTOR 1 again, has practically no blind spots. ItвЂ™s a game that more enhances how great the first game was as well. While the 2nd one is considered to be more thought provoking with how unique it is, it suffers from pacing issues (which I know is also because of cut content and an unreasonably fast development cycle). ItвЂ™s tough, but gun to my headвЂ¦I pick KOTOR 1. Lastly, the ending left me feeling вЂњwait thatвЂ™s it?вЂќ. And Malachor V was kinda a drag to playthrough until finally where I get to fight Sion and Traya. In all of my playthroughs, I almost never wanted to finish the game after that scene with meeting the Jedi Council (and Kreia) on Dantoine. Towards 2nd half of the game, it takes a bit of a dive, and a little bit of a hassle to finally complete. However, I will say that the mark against this game is that the pacing is not as good as the first one. It brought Star Wars to a whole different light and perspective that many people never thought of, a story that is more about surviving the aftermath of a brutal war than your typical over the top villain wiping out the galaxy, amazing villains like Sion and Nihilus, great side characters like the last one (even excluding Kreia of course), and improved gameplay features from the last one.

She was deep.ДЄnyway, like KOTOR 1, storywise it was incredible. Her fascination with the Exile, her hatred for the force itself and how it seems to control people/fate, her tales of Revan that make him even more of a mythical figure in all of Star Wars, and how much of a great villain she became in the endвЂ¦and because she made so much sense. The reason why this succeeded so spectacularly was because of Kreia being quite possibly the most unique and interesting character in all of Star Wars.

The Last Jedi movie tried to pull this off, but failed. It was a total deconstruction of Star Wars as a whole. KOTOR 2: The reason why so many people have so much love for this game storywise (including me), over KOTOR 2 is that it was NOT A TRADITIONAL Star Wars story. The only real flaw I would say is that skills like Demolition, Security, Computer Use, Stealth, even Repair arenвЂ™t really that useful, let alone needed in an entire play through. An adventure that will never be forgotten and can played from beginning to end AGAIN AND AGAIN. ItвЂ™s written very well with perfect pacing and great characters (top of the line voice acting too). Overall, there are almost no blind spots with this. The somewhat over-the-top villain, world/galaxy level threat mission, companions that felt very вЂњStar WarsyвЂќ (in a good way), and an incredible twist. KOTOR: Storywise, it was more traditional Star Wars.
